Emotional & Mental Health Support

The early weeks after birth are full of change- little sleep, new responsibilities, shifting emotions, and the transition into parenthood. I provide steady, nonjudgmental support during this adjustment, helping families build confidence as you settle into your new roles. When emotional challenges feel heavier than expected, I’m trained to recognize when additional support is needed and connect families with trusted professionals.

Labor & Birth Recovery

I am holistic-based, using evidence-informed natural remedies to support maternal healing. This may include preparing homemade perineal salves, setting up sitz baths, or making bulk padsicles for comfort and relief. I also prepare nourishing stews, broths, and warm meals that support internal healing. Most importantly, I am trained to recognize when healing is not progressing normally, and to recommend medical care if concerns or emergencies arise.

Household & Practical Support

Light household tasks related to postpartum care may include meal preparation, tidying baby-related areas, washing bottles or pump parts, running errands, and baby laundry. I support families by handling these basic, but time-consuming tasks- especially during the early months when you are recovering, sleep-deprived, and learning your baby’s cues and needs.

Sibling & Family Adjustment

Whether this is your first, second, or third child, welcoming a new baby is a major transition for everyone involved. I am trained to support each member of the family, including siblings, and to thoughtfully discuss evolving family dynamics with parents so care can be tailored to your unique needs. I will help navigate integration and boundaries with extended family, bridging gaps so parents can focus on what matters most during this season. I offer emotionally attuned, adaptable support, meeting each family where they are and honoring every dynamic.

Breastfeeding & Lactation Support

I have training in breastfeeding and lactation, and can support mothers as their milk comes in. I can help identify comfortable feeding positions and assist with achieving a proper latch. I can also prepare lactation-supportive foods, such as cookies, meals, or teas. We are trained to recognize when a lactation specialist or IBCLC should be involved for more complex situations, and doulas maintain trusted referral lists when care extends beyond our scope.

Newborn Guidance

So many factors come up during postpartum- Should you use a pacifier? What bottles are the best ones for proper development? Should my baby be sleeping through the night? When I put my baby down, they cry and can’t settle on their own. These situations can feel overwhelming and hard to make decisions. As your doula, I will never force or guide you on something that does not meet your goals, feel right to you, or support your morals as a mom and family. You are in control of the decisions that are made for your family. I am simply there to research, bring up suggestions, and help create the foundation of confident decision-making in parents.

Continuing Education

My current services above are the foundation of postpartum doula work, but I have constantly researching and looking for ways to expand my expertise.

Here is a list of services I’m hoping to provide in the near future

Belly Binding - Belly binding is the practice of wrapping the abdomen postpartum with a long cloth wrap or supportive binder to provide gentle compression and support after birth, both vaginally and by cesarean. It’s been used in many cultures for generations, including traditional practices in places like Malaysia, Mexico, and Japan - coming soon

Blocking My Schedule

Blocks on my schedule guarantee time for me to support your family postpartum. Blocks require a minimum of 35 hours/week, and bookings can range from 3-12 weeks. I do offer 1-2 week bookings when I have random breaks in my schedule, but I generally take 3-12 to ensure long-term support for clients.

Pre-booking before baby comes is the best way to secure a spot on my schedule, and requires a signed contract & non-refundable 50% retainer fee that will go towards service fees.

To block my schedule, please reach out to have an initial consult. Before baby arrives, we will set up a prenatal visit to discuss your goals and priorities in postpartum, and set our first week’s schedule.

Drop-In Shifts

Drop-in shift are more last-minute needs where I have availability to help parents between my blocked clients.

It does not require a retainer fee, but it also does not guarantee available hours or a set schedule. Shifts will be prepaid for in order to book 1 shift at a time, and a contract is still needed for me to provide services.

This is for people who don’t want to commit to a full block, or are already in the thick of it postpartum and are looking to have some relief when I have availability!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out, I will gladly fit you in if my schedule allows, or I can connect you to other doulas and resources in your area.
